At the start of Spring Training, I predicted a 68-94 season.
Five games into the season, the team stands at 3-2. The starting pitching has been solid. The bullpen has had some adventures. So if my prediction is to hold true, we’re looking at a 65-92 clip for the rest of the season.
Today is wrapping up the opening week homestand with Laffey making his season debut, having been added to the roster with Familia being sent to AAA. After today, it’s off to chilly April road trips to Philly, Minnesota, and Denver before coming back to thaw out later in the month.
Let’s hope for another win today and a good road trip.
