Daniel Murphy: Superhero – Episode 35
The team arrived in Philadelphia for the first road trip of the season. As they stepped off the team bus at the hotel, Daniel Murphy spotted something out of the corner of his eye.
A cat.
And it seemed to be grinning at him.
Before Daniel could get a good look at him, the cat vanished.
“You okay?” Ike Davis said.
“Yeah,” Daniel said. “I thought I just saw something.”
“As long as it wasn’t the Phanatic, it’s all good,” Ike said.
After the team checked in, Daniel made his way up to his room. He tipped the bellhop generously (which he always does) and when he closed the door behind him, he again saw something out of the corner of his eye.
“Meow!” the cat said and lunged at him.
Daniel was able to get his hands up quickly to protect himself before the cat could scratch his eyes out. The cat landed deftly and jumped out an opened window in Daniel’s room.
Daniel ran to the window and looked outside. Standing down below, he saw an old woman wearing a red hat with a letter “P” on it.
“That’s my good Utley,” the old woman said as the cat leapt into her arms, purring loudly. “Teach that mean old Superhero a lesson.” The old woman looked up in Daniel’s direction and smiled.
